Amanda Lilly Sheumaker, 55, passed away peacefully Wednesday February 21, 2018 surrounded by loving family and friends.
Amanda was born February 11, 1963, in Herrin, the daughter of Billy Bob and Mary Carolyn “Russell” Barnes.
She married Jeffrey D. Sheumaker on July 30, 2011 in Carterville; they shared 7 years of marriage.
She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Sheumaker; Children; Graham and wife Leslie Johnson; Joshua Johnson and partner Emily Kern; Stepchildren; Elias and Eleanor Sheumaker; Grandsons; Silas and Samuel Johnson; Sisters; Gayle and husband Gary Walker; Jayne and husband David Raso; Brother; Steve and wife Edna Barnes; several nieces, nephews, cousins; special friend Martha Clendenin and best friend Storry Taylor.
Amanda was preceded in death by her parents Billy Bob and Carolyn Barnes.
Interment will be held at Blairsville Cemetery.
A Celebration of Amanda’s life will be held at a later date with family and friends. Walker Funeral Home and Crematory entrusted with arrangements.
