Chalkie” Hall 77, died Friday April 17, 2020 in his home.
He was born March 28, 1943, to Charles and Alma (Dodds) Hall.
Charles is survived by one sister Janice (Jim) Judd of DeSoto, and those who he was affectionally known as Uncle Bobo, Nephews Charlie (Amber) Judd of Desoto, Scott (Jen) Judd of Pittsburg, Nieces Vonda (Marc) Strandquist of Kissimmee Fl, Sondra (Roy) Harris of Carbondale, Jamie (Curtis) Turner of DeSoto. He is also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews and 6 great- great nieces and nephews. One aunt, Sharon Lambert of Washington Mo. Friend Kathy Hall of Carbondale and all his buddies at Crab Orchard Golf Course.
Charles retired from the US Postal Service after many years of delivering mail. Charles also served his country in the US Army.
He enjoyed golfing, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and playing cards at the Golf Course with his many friends. He also enjoyed going on motorcycle trips especially to the Smokey Mountains.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and no public service will be conducted. Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Carbondale entrusted with arrangements.
