Georgia Aileen DeFrank ~ Florida October 16, 2019

Georgia Aileen DeFrank, 95, was called home on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at 1:50 p.m. surrounded by her loving family at Suncoast Hospice in Largo, Florida.

Georgia was born September 10, 1924, Carbondale, Illinois the daughter of the late George and Hattie (Biggs) Fore.

She married Victor DeFrank on February 14th, 1946 in Woodriver, Illinois. They shared over 50 years of marriage till his passing on November 16, 1996.

Georgia is survived by her children; Victor “Danny” and wife Linda DeFrank of Waxahachie, Texas; Vicki DeFrank of St. Petersburg, Florida; Pam DeFrank – Blayney of Peoria, Illinois;

grandchildren; Michael and wife Brittany DeFrank of Waxahachie, Texas; Brandon and wife Kristen Blayney of Peoria, Illinois ; Kristopher (two tours in the Marines) and wife Whitney Blayney of Peoria, Illinois; great grandchildren; Baylen, Bowen, Bevan Mae all of Waxahachie, Texas; Noah and Miles Blayney of Peoria, Illinois; Weston, Georgia Lu and Harper Susan Blayney all of Peoria, Illinois;

son in law; Brad Wingate Tempe, Arizona. In addition to an extended family Georgia left a legacy of friends that fell in love with her smile, charm, dignity, Godly faith and her wonderfully kind way and witty humor.

She is preceded in death by her Parents George and Hattie Fore; husband Victor DeFrank; youngest daughter Susan DeFrank who lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer January 31, 2005.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Carbondale from 1961-2011 when she moved to Peoria and eventually St. Petersburg, Florida.

A Celebration of Georgia’s life will Sunday November 10, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at Drury Church with Pastor Stephen Combs officiating. Interment will be following at Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale.
