I was truly sorry to read about the passing of a good friend and childhood neighbor. Most anytime we got together it could turn out to be an interesting adventure, but always entertaining, as well. Over our lifetime, we would drift apart due to various circumstances, but come back together just as inadvertently, picking up right where we left off. Bob was a good soul and do anything for you that it was in his power to do. I only regret that I couldn’t attend the military rites at Wolf Creek due to health issues. He richly deserved that recognition.

So very sadden and hurt by the news of my good friends passing. Bob and I had been great friends since I first met him when he moved to Carbondale while we were in the 6th grade. We had so many good times and laughs together. We even served together in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. I was so glad I got to spend time with him last fall at our 50th high school reunion.
Loved you like a brother Bobby Dale and you will be missed. Until we meet again. Peace my brother.
