Susan J. Lasley, 70, passed away at her home in DeSoto, Illinois on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
Susan was born June 5, 1952, in Anna, Illinois the daughter of the late Floyd Elza and Vera Mae (Rutherford) Lasley.
She worked as a secretary for Consolidated Insurance in Carbondale for over 30 years until her retirement in 2019. Susan was very generous and supported many charities over the years.
She is survived by her sons; Jason and wife Netanya Dart of Naples, Florida; Adam and wife Autumn Dart of Colp, Illinois; grandchildren; Richi Dart of Colp, Illinois; Kenny Arthur of Carbondale, Illinois; siblings; Alan Lasley of Red Bud, Illinois; James Lasley of Murphysboro, Illinois; David Lasley of Warsaw, Indiana, Kevin Lasley of Loami, Illinois; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Vera Lasley, and sister Mary B. Frost.
Services will be Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Kevin Lasley officiating. Interment will follow at Murdale Gardens of Memory in Murphysboro, Illinois.
