Beverly Carvell, 57, passed away September 2, 2019 in Carbondale.
Beverly was born March 21, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of the late Joe Poore and Neva Jane Wallace.
She attended Calvary Campus Church with her loving son. Beverly cleaned at a local hotel.
She married John David Carvell September 18, 1991 in Murphysboro. John preceded her in death August 10, 2016. They shared over 24 years of marriage.
She is survived by her son Shawn and husband Robert Burcz of North Charleston, SC; step son; Ted Carvell of Hamburg, NJ; James Carvell of Providence, RI; sister Valarie Cobb Kirby and husband Don of Benton, Il; brothers; Jackie Cobb of West Frankfort, IL; Mark and wife Mitzi Poore of Carterville, IL; Jimmy Cobb of Springfield, IL; step sister; Barbara and husband Gary Segretario of Oviedo, FL; and many nieces nephews and dear friends.
Beverly is preceded in death by her father; Joe Poore; stepfather; Jack Cobb; mother Neva Cobb – Wallace ; husband John David Carvell.
Celebration of Beverly’s life will be held Thursday September 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Carbondale.
