CARBONDALE — Carl Quandt, 67, passed away at 5:35 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Carl was born July 10, 1948, in Chicago, to August and Bernice (Stankus) Quandt.
Carl was a loving son, brother, and friend.
Carl was a long time employee of Niemann Flooring.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sister; Doris Blomberg and husband, Gregory; nephews, Chris Blomberg and wife, Anna Christi, Kevin Blomberg and wife, Rebecca; and great-nephews, Bennett Blomberg and Garrison Blomberg.
Memorial services will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 16, in Walker Funeral Home, with prayer led at 6 p.m. by Pastor Katherine Graves.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Huntington Disease Society.
