Helen is survived by her children; Stephen “Steve” W. Brumitt and Lana and husband Fred Meyers; grandchildren; Jennifer Sheehan; Becky Coons; Stephen “Bo” Brumitt; Justin Meyers; Brittany Meyers and 11 great grandchildren; and a dear family friend Ann Jeralds.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Wilburn and Velma Hicks; daughter Anita Kaye Brumitt; three sisters; Grace, Carol and Dorothy.

She embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her children and grandchildren.
