Margaret Ann Rogers ~ Carbondale December 11, 2020

Margaret Ann Rogers,87, of Carbondale, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

She was born November 26, 1933 in Wolf Lake, Illinois the daughter of the late Archie and Margie (Andrews) Williams.

Margaret married Patrick Edward Rogers on August 24, 1957 and together they shared 63 beautiful years of marriage.

Margaret is survived by her husband; Patrick Rogers; three daughters; Joni Rogers; Kim (John) Joiner; Cheryl Formel; two sons; Jim (Debbie) Rogers; Marc (Katie) Rogers; nine grandchildren; Seventeen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister Jenny Otten; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Archie and Margie Williams; two brothers and one sister.

Margaret was devoted to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. The many memories shared by her family and friends will be cherished by those who knew and loved her. She was past madame president of the Carbondale Eagles Women’s Auxiliary 2569.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois 204 Halfway Road Marion, Illinois 62959.

Due to the on going pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery and a celebration of life will be conducted at later date.
