Nathan Bowles, 42, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in Carbondale, Illinois.

Nathan was born in Irving, Texas on July 20, 1981, to Terry I. Bowles and S. Diane (Henderson).

He is survived by his mother, S. Diane, brothers, Thaddeus I. Bowles and John L. Bowles, half-brother, Brian Bowles and half-sister, Nancy Schafer. Children he was privileged to help parent are Michael Nelson, Ellie Rowan, and Simon Welch. He left a multitude of relatives and so many friends.

Nathan was preceded in death by his father, Terry I. Bowles.

A Celebration of Nathan’s life will be held this Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 781 San Francisco Road Carbondale, Illinois at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Nathan’s family prefers non-perishable donations appropriate for homeless shelters or animal rescue shelters.

Walker Funeral Home of Carbondale entrusted with arrangements.
