Mrs. Nobia Helen Sisson Youngblood 93, originally of Savannah Tn, passed away Monday March 15 in Desoto IL at her daughters’ residence. She was 25-year employee of Brown Shoe Company.
Helen was born in Noland, Ark on Dec 1,1927 to Noble Howard Sisson and Mary Louise (Batta) Sisson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry “Hank” Youngblood, two brothers, Leslie Sisson and Howard “Buck” Sisson, two sisters, Lucille McAnally and Mary Faulkner and one son in law Noel Cobb.
She is survived by three daughters Charlotte Cobb of Huntingdon, TN, Mardi (Greg) Meadows of Desoto, IL, and Lynne (Roy) Keehn of Murphysboro, IL. One son, Hank (Kathy) Youngblood of Middleton, TN. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Graveside services will be Saturday March 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Hollands Creek Cemetery in Savannah, Tennessee.
